Ordering something custom can feel a little uncertain the first time — you're buying something that doesn't exist yet. So here's exactly what happens between “I have an idea” and a parcel arriving at your door.

Step 1 — You tell us the story

Almost every order starts as a message. The best ones don't arrive as a specification; they arrive as context. Something like:

It's for my sister's 25th. She loves sunflowers and yellow. She's just moved into a tiny flat.

That single sentence tells us the palette, the flower, the occasion and the fact that a large arrangement would be impractical. Far more useful than “one bouquet, please”.

What's genuinely helpful to share

  • The occasion, and the date you need it by
  • Who it's for, and anything they particularly love
  • Colours you want — or colours to avoid
  • Any reference photos, including ones from our Instagram
  • Your delivery city

Step 2 — We design it together

We'll come back with a suggested direction: which blooms suit the palette, what size works for the setting, whether a wrap or a pot suits it better. This is genuinely a conversation, and it's normal for it to go back and forth a couple of times.

This is also the stage to change your mind freely. Adjusting a plan costs nothing; adjusting a finished bouquet costs hours. We would always rather you said “actually, could we try blush instead of red?” now.

Step 3 — It gets made, by hand, one piece at a time

Then the table comes out. Each bloom is shaped individually — petals formed, centres set, stems wrapped, leaves added — before anything is assembled into an arrangement. A pearl centre or a curled tendril might be the detail that takes the longest and gets noticed the least, which is rather how craft works.

Assembly is its own stage: balancing the shape, making sure it reads well from the front and the sides, and getting the wrap and ribbon to sit properly. This is the part that can't be rushed, and it's why we ask for at least a week's notice on custom orders.

Step 4 — Packing, which we take seriously

A handmade piece that arrives squashed is a handmade piece ruined, so packing gets real attention. Blooms are cushioned, the arrangement is braced so it can't shift, the box is marked fragile, and a handwritten thank-you card goes in before it's sealed.

If it's a surprise, tell us — we can leave our branding off the outer packaging so it isn't given away at the door. We deliver across India, and we'll share tracking once it's dispatched.

A few honest expectations

Because we'd rather set these out plainly than have anyone disappointed:

  • Handmade means small variations. Your piece will match the design we agreed, but no two handmade blooms are ever pixel-identical — that's the nature of it, and honestly the charm.
  • Colours can shift slightly on screen. Phone screens vary. If an exact shade is critical, tell us and we'll confirm with a real photo before assembling.
  • Earlier is always better. Festival weeks and Valentine's book out quickly. If your date is fixed, message sooner rather than later.

And then the best part

Our favourite messages aren't the orders — they're the ones that come after. A photo of the bouquet on someone's desk. A screenshot of a reaction. Someone telling us it's still on their shelf a year later.

That's the whole reason this studio exists. If you've got an idea, even a half-formed one, just send it over — we'll help you shape it.

Got an idea?

Send it across — even a rough one. We'll help you turn it into something real.
